Footwear Watch: Marc by Marc Jacobs

With the riotous colors and patterns on the runway at Marc by Marc Jacobs yesterday, we were glad to see the shoes strike a more restrained note—in particular, a few pairs of suede and leather low-tops in neutral tones. As if even seeing the laces would be too much of a distraction, they were covered up with panels secured by crisscrossing leather straps.

Annette Meyer surely does! at least those can be presented, either dressed on the occasion

The most tragical and amasing is that these masterpieces of fashion can't stay for long (doesn't it remind some Cinderella story?) as they are made from paper

However the Dutch designer still delights us with the colouration (the VXII century classic Dutch painting) and makes an overview of different styles of the last 200 years: from splendour french dresses to the 60's A-silhouette, romantic German evening costumes and the ultramini skirts

I guess, the tendency of combining different textiles this season and the coming one (hm,okey,the whole year) sticks to mixing whatever you see on a fabric counter: leather with knitted things, suede and fur, silk and crepe de Chin...the main(!) it should be in one colour (or at least similar)

The last 50 years of fashion may be truly called a twiggy- epoque!

Even long before her birth everybody was charmed and intrigated by the slim shapes of city fashionistas.

Plus it has become realy extinguishing moment of putting this wonderful body construction in clothes of the most pretentious style and fashion...

Personally speaking, I just adore some vagueness and uncertainty in the image of today fashion pattern. It just holds you for long and makes an impression of light admire ..)
